Wild Iris Marketing Proudly Designs the 150th Anniversary Logo for Evergreen
The team at Wild Iris Marketing, was honored to be asked to design the official logo for Evergreen’s 150th anniversary. As a local business dedicated to helping brands bloom, this project was especially meaningful to us. Working alongside the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, we set out to create a logo that truly reflects the rich history, natural beauty, and unique charm of our beloved mountain community.
Evergreen has a storied past that dates back to 1875, and its 150th anniversary, or Sesquicentennial, is a momentous occasion worthy of a visual identity that captures the essence of what makes this town special. From the towering pine trees to the breathtaking mountain landscapes, Evergreen is a place where nature and community thrive together. Our goal was to incorporate these iconic elements into a logo that honors the past while looking forward to the future.
Capturing the Spirit of Evergreen
To develop a design that resonates with both residents and visitors, we worked closely with the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce to identify key symbols that define the community. Evergreen Lake, with its stunning year-round beauty, was an obvious choice, representing both recreation and serenity. The iconic mountain peaks that frame the town’s skyline were also essential in illustrating the town’s natural backdrop. And of course, our town’s namesake, the amazing Evergreen trees had to play a central role in the final logo.
After exploring various concepts and refining our ideas, we crafted a logo that encapsulates the spirit of Evergreen. The final design features a harmonious blend of natural elements, woven together to celebrate the town’s beauty that has kept visitors returning for generations. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the greens of the forests, the blues of the lake, and the earthy tones of the mountains.
A Celebration of Community and Heritage
Beyond just a visual representation, this logo serves as a rallying point for the entire community. Throughout the anniversary year, it will be proudly displayed across event materials, promotional items, and digital platforms, serving as a reminder of Evergreen’s journey and the people who have made it what it is today.
We are incredibly proud to have played a role in commemorating this milestone, and we’re grateful to the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce for entrusting us with such an important project.
