The Delegation Equation

Let’s face it, budgets are limited. So, what can you do to make the most of the money and time you have?

One word we use with many clients is “delegate”.  It is difficult (if not impossible) for one person to do everything and do it well. Outreach (social media, website development, email and eBlasts, newsletters and other forms of communication with your audience) is a complex and ever-changing area and it really does take someone who is deep in it all the time to keep up with trends and techniques.

When new tax laws come out most of us call on our CPA or tax advisor to make sure we are doing what we need to to be in compliance. If our computers crash, we call an IT person to come rescue our data. If we need a new brochure or catalog, we call on a graphic designer. Just because your teenage niece or son can tweet, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram with their friends does NOT mean they are a successful communications expert for a business. I can put gas in my car and maybe add windshield washer fluid but that does not make me a mechanic!

You are an expert in your business and then things that have helped you get to where you are today. To maximize your outreach potential, delegate your communications to a trusted expert.
