Digital Marketing for Denver Small and Medium Businesses

The team from Wild Iris Marketing is based in Evergreen and Denver. We hold meetings with Denver-based clients regularly, in person and via Zoom or phone, and some of our best ideas have started in a Denver coffee shop.

One of our favorite blog posts came out of a conversation with a barista at Fluid Coffee Bar. The point was simple. Marketing works like a coffee order, and a good shop doesn’t hand everyone the same plain drip. Another time, a young woman at Novo Coffee needed a charger to finish a job interview on her laptop. Mindy lent her one. She got the job, and it turned out her new employer might need our services. Denver is a big city, but business here still happens when people connect.

A big market, and a lot of noise

Denver small and medium businesses compete with national chains, big-budget agencies and every out-of-state company that wants the same customers. You don’t beat that by outspending them. You beat them with a clear plan:

  • Know exactly who you’re trying to reach. A neighborhood, a niche, a specialty, a demographic. Knowing your audience is key to spending your marketing budget wisely and not overspending to reach the wrong people. We strongly believe it is better to reach 100 potential real clients than 100,000 people who will never buy from you or need your services.
  • Show up for the searches you can realistically win. Do not try to compete for “doctor.” “Endocrinologist” or “ENT” are more specific and less competitive. Being specific with your marketing increases the impact of your efforts and investment.
  • Spend your budget wisely and in ways that will serve you in the long term, not just immediate results (although those are important too). Running paid ads pays off while the ad is running, but as soon as you stop paying, the leads stop coming in. We help you identify ways to invest in your marketing that will keep the phone ringing even after your initial investment.

Some of the ways we help Denver businesses

Marketing Strategy & Planning. A written plan with itemized pricing, so every dollar has a clear and specific job and you know exactly what to expect.

SEO & Analytics. Keyword research for your business (and your competitors, so you know what they are doing well and where their weaknesses are), aimed at the searches that bring in potential customers instead of overwhelming you with ineffective leads.

E-commerce / WooCommerce. Online stores and ordering systems built to handle your specific products or services and real demand.

Digital Advertising. Precise, measured ads that we pair with work that keeps paying off after your initial ads stop running.

Why hire a foothills team for a Denver business?

Because we will show up. You get the same small team from the first coffee to the monthly check-in, people who know your business and answer the phone. We’d rather sit across the table from you than send another automated report.
